CARF strongly believes in aiding the deprived sections of society. Sharing the journey of little Sushil Kumar, let's be his strong support in this crucial phase of his life.

Meet Sushil, the elder son of Mr. Niranjan Banik, who has been battling recurring illness since he turned six months old. He endures persistent high fever, vomiting, loss of appetite, and weakness. Despite treatments, his health continues to deteriorate. Multiple tests revealed Sushil has a rare blood disorder, "Thalassemia Major." Since then, his parents have been undergoing periodic blood transfusions as per the doctor’s advice. Unfortunately, in January 2024, Sushil encountered even more severe complications. The sole remedy to save him is a Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) treatment costing around Rs. 35 lakhs approx.

Originally from Odisha, the family relocated to Mumbai due to Sushil’s treatment. Currently, Mr. Niranjan is unable to work due to Sushil’s medical emergencies. Sushil’s father’s plea from heart, “Right from his infant age, Sushil has been battling this critical disease. He lost almost his entire childhood to treatments and medicines. I yearn for him to break free from the clutches of this illness and live a normal life.”
