Your access to and use of this website (www.cancerarfoundation.org) referred to as “Site” is subject to the following terms and conditions and all applicable laws. By accessing and browsing this Site, you accept, without limitation or qualification, these Terms and Conditions and acknowledge that any other agreements between you and Cancer Aid & Research Foundation referred to as “CARF” are superseded and of no force or effect.

You may download, display or print information from this Site (the “Information”) solely for non-commercial personal use.

You must retain and reproduce each and every copyright notice or other proprietary rights notice contained in any Information you download. You may not, however, distribute, modify, transmit, reuse, repost, or use the content of the Site for public or commercial purposes, including the text, images, graphics, audio, and video without written permission of CARF. You should assume that everything you see or read on this Site is copyrighted unless otherwise noted and may not be used except as provided in these Terms and Conditions or in the text on the Site without the written permission of CARF. CARF neither warrants nor represents that your use of materials displayed on the Site will not infringe rights of third parties not owned by or affiliated with CARF.

In case you wish to make your contribution to CARF for any other purpose eg. sponsorships, purchase of its products and services etc, please use the cheque/pay order/DD method.

All donations accepted through on line methods will be accounted for as the income of the CARF and will be applied for the charitable purposes they are meant for. However, if the donor wishes to make a large donation to the Corpus of the CARF as its long term capital, then he should only use the cheque/payorder/DD method and state specifically in his covering letter that the donation is meant as contribution to the Corpus of CARF. In the absence of such specific direction, the donation will be accounted for as income of CARF by the Income Tax Dept.

Please note that the credit /debit cards issued outside India are currently not eligible to be used for online donations.

CARF will be sending a receipt for the donation made, enclosing a copy of the 80 G certificate, to the address indicated on the registration form within 45 days of receiving the payment. Please note that there is a levy of 2.5% charged by the Bank/Card companies on the on line donation made through credit/debit card. As a result, in such cases, the receipt issued by ICS will be for the amount net of this levy. Please contact CARF by e mail or post in case you do not receive the receipt in the time indicated.

All donors making a donation required to give their PAN number on the registration form. Please note that while CARF makes no enquiries with regard to the source of funds for the donation, it is imperative for the donors that the applicable laws are followed in this regard.

The donors are most welcome to re-assure themselves that their donations have been used for the purpose they have specified. In the case of donations exceeding Rs 10 lacks, the Society will be able to provide an audited certificate of end use if so requested by the donor. With the exception of the foregoing limited authorisation, no license to or right in any copyright of CARF or of any other party is granted or conferred to you.

CARF site may contain or reference trademarks, patents, proprietary information, technologies, products, processes or other proprietary rights of CARF and/or other parties. No license to or right in any such trademarks, patents, trade secrets, technologies, products, processes and other proprietary rights of CARF and/or other parties is granted to or conferred upon you.

The facility of making online donations is currently restricted to Indian nationals and Indian organisations, in Indian rupees only. While CARF uses its efforts to include accurate and up to date information in the Site, CARF makes no warranties or representations with respect to the content of the Site, which is provided “as is”. CARF accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever arising from or in any way connected with the use of this Site or its content. In particular, CARF will not be liable for the accuracy, completeness, adequacy, timeliness, or comprehensiveness of the information contained on the Site. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so the above exclusion may not apply to you. CARF also assumes no responsibility, and shall not be liable for, any damages to, or viruses that may infect, your computer equipment or other property on account of your access to, use of, or browsing in the Site or your downloading of any materials, data, text, images, video, or audio from the Site.

CARF reserves the right to interrupt or discontinue any or all of the functionality of its Site. CARF who is controlling this Site accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever for any interruption or discontinuance of any or all functionality of its Site, whether the result of actions or omissions of an entity of CARF or a third party.

Any communication or material you transmit to the Site by electronic mail or otherwise, including any data, questions, feedback, ideas, queries, comments, suggestions or the like is, and will be treated as, non-confidential and non-proprietary. Anything you transmit or post becomes the property of CARF or its affiliates and may be used for any purpose, including, but not limited to, reproduction, disclosure, transmission, publication, broadcast and posting.
