Cancer isn't a single disease. The term cancer encompasses more than 200 diseases all characterized by the uncontrolled proliferation of cells.  It is not scary, but the hype surrounding the disease CANCER creates havoc not only in the mind of the patient but also to the entire family. Cancer can be cured with positive approach & timely medical treatment.  Diagnosis at an early stage plays an important role in the successful treatment of the disease.  Only obstacle in the path of a common man is the high cost of treatment. 

This is the story of an amazing little boy named Om – a 6 year old child is battling with childhood cancer (DMG PAES HEM-LYMPH). At this playful age of six, Om is suffering and is confined to bed for painful treatment.  Doctors have advised for Chemotherapy and Supportive Care and  the approx. cost of  the  treatment is estimated to ` 3 lacs. which has shattered the entire family. His father is a teacher in a small school at Bankura (west Bengal) with a monthly income of approx.  ` 3500/- and having a family of 5 members to look after.  He has approached CARF for help so that his child’s treatment is not stopped due to lack of funds.  To help Om to get cured and enjoy life once again, we appeal to all you kind hearted people to donate generously to bring a smile and new life to this charming little boy and his family.
