“Our little son Ganesh is the most precious blessing for us. Since he became a part of our family, watching him grow up with all his pranks and smiles always gave us immense joy. But now we are truly worried thinking about his life ahead. Since January 2022, Ganesh began falling sick very often with loss of appetite, painful urination, swelling of the stomach, and recurrent fever. So, we took him to our regular Pediatrician and followed all the suggested treatment plans. Then, after a few days, we noticed a lymph node in his scrotum area, so we rushed him to a multi-care hospital. There, we underwent further medical tests as advised by our doctor, and ruling out certain points in his report, later his biopsy was performed. Through the biopsy and CT scan reports, it was revealed that Ganesh is suffering from a type of cancer -“Embryonal RMS” for which the only curative option is Chemotherapy & other supportive care worth Rs. 6 lakhs approx. We hail from an impoverished family background. I am a farmer by occupation and our family lives with my meager income. All our savings & borrowed funds have been utilized in the treatment of Ganesh so far. Still our son is struggling to survive and we have no means to reach his further treatment cost. Every day, we live in fear of losing our little son, even as he smiles, talks and hopes of a pain free life ahead. We can fulfill Ganesh’s dream with one act of your kindness.
