A story of a 13 year old beautiful, young charming girl Vanshika, suffering from “Relapsed Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia” (a type of cancer). Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia is a life threatening condition, if not treated on time with correct treatment. This life threatening disease can take one's life.
Treating Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia can be performed by Chemotherapy/ Radiography.
But a family of four to feed and her father is only source of income who earns Rs. 48,000- annually working in a small firm as a labour. It's impossible for a family, to pay for her treatment as she needs to undergo “Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplant”for her “Relapsed Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia”.
The total cost estimation for her Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplant treatment is Rs. 11,00,000/- which in turn is a life challenge for her and family. When her father visited us at our CARF center for financial help and narrated the whole story he failed to express grief and sorrow he was going through at that moment.
