In November 2016 Mr. Raj Kumar, a 14 yrs. boy was detected, suffering from NSGCT (a type of cancer). The doctors had advised him Chemotherapy supportive care & assured good chances of survival if proper treatment is completed. The estimated cost of treatment is approx. Rs. 1.5 lakhs. Raj’s father is a farmer and due to poor crops, he is shouldering a huge burden of loan. He is not able to even feed & shelter his family consisting of 6 members. Now to add, Raj’s medical treatment is an additional burden and he is not able to continue with his son’s treatment. CARF’s commitment to cancer patients is deeply passionate.
